SKALA BEACH KEFALONIA

The hotel is situated in Skala area near the village and the local market. A downhill stroll of 800 metres brings you straight out onto the beach road where you can decide whether to stay on the main section of the beach or head off to somewhere a little more secluded. The centre of Skala is a further 200 metres away – taxis are readily available to bring you back up the hill after a hard day on the beach or a wine or two in a local taverna.

Skala has one of the largest stretches of beach on the island which makes it ideal for a lazy beach break. The beach is fine shingle and has a large selection of watersports. By night Skala really comes into its own and has the best nightlife on the island. There is a large selection of restaurants and tavernas to suite all tastes with music bars staying open until the early hours of the morning.

Even though Skala has grown in popularity it has not lost its relaxed village atmosphere. You will also find two cash point machines, pharmacies and everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay.
